Market day for Year 3
As part of our numeracy planning, we decided to head for Brixton market, today, to practice our financial skills.
With our small budget, we proceded to walk down to a fruit stall, near Brixton village to put our numeracy skills into practice.
After a quick look at the price tags, we thought about the best way to spend our money: everyone in each group had to have a fruit, but we had a budget limit.
After a careful selection and some clever calculations (and of course, checking our change), we managed to get a good snack, and a good deal.
