World Poetry Day

Budding Poets

To celebrate World Poetry Day, which also happens to be Spring day, Year 3, along with the rest of the school, decided to get ready for a poetry show during assembly last Friday.

After a bit of brainstorming and creative thinking on Thursday, everything was ready for the show to begin!

Have a look at the video below to see what Hill Mead's budding poets can do (Year 3 starts at 1 min 39 s).

Feel free to check the class' work on our dedicated page.

And to our poets: you can try to illustrate your works with some nice pictures. Don't hesitate!

Congratulations to all the Hill Mead artists, and feel free to tell us in the comments which poem you liked the most and why!

Bonus: have a look at the most difficult poem in the English language, and try reciting it. Results are often very fun.
