Hill Mead's sports champions in video!

As promised, here are the videos from last week's Sports Day events!

Quite a few activities were taking place.

First, we had the long jump:

A few strides a bit of stretching (and a big push) sealed the deal. We are still waiting on the final results. We had too many close calls!

Then, on to the javelin competition:

This one was a very successful workshop, and the throws were quite spectacular (some of us can thank the wind, too!).

Next was the long awaited penalty shoot-out.

Despite a slow start, things soon began to pick up. We may have a future Premier League superstar in Year 3!

And just before lunch, we had a go at the weight throw activity:

After a quick picnic in the lush Kennington Park, we got back to the day's activities, starting with the obstacle race. Please, do watch the demo!

And finally, to conclude the day, we were treated to a thrilling relay race.
