Thames boat trip

Day out on London's waters

Today was an exciting day in Year 3.

We thought it might be a good idea to take advantage of the sun and the beginning of the aestival season (it was about time!) and go out for a cruise on the river Thames.

Getting on at London Eye pier, we began to hunt for all the landmarks and tidbits of history we'd learnt about the weeks before in class as we were jaunting along on the river.

Our hour-long trip was to end at Royal Historical Greenwich, where we stopped by the university's park, a stone's throw away from the iconic Cutty Sark.

After a quick lunch out in the sun, and a bit of running around, we journeyed back to Central London, and eventually, to school.

As a souvenir from this trip, we have lots of pictures to share with you. Have a look at our Flickr page, or simply click here

Which landmarks do you remember from our trip?
Which part of the trip did you like the best?
Which landmark impressed you the most?
