This week, we kept on investigating materials and their properties.  

We discussed the notion of temperature, and tried to give a definition of the word. Easy to use, tricky to explain! We also explained that to measure temperature, we need to use a thermometer (powered by a chemical called "mercury"), and the unit of measurement is degrees.

As a more hands-on activity, we then had a go at using thermometers with mediums of different temperatures.
